Making Cash On The Web is a serious attempt to compile useful information about making money on the internet. It is a combination of things that I have learned myself, as well as information culled from other sources. It is NOT about get rich quick schemes, or wierd marketing programs. I am not going to sell you anything.
Much of the advice on this site is aimed at using blogs to earn money on the internet. The reason is that blogging software allows you to have a dynamic website without all the hassle of coding pages in html and uploading them every time you want to change something.
But I’ve recently begun to experiment with a piece of software called SiteSpinner V2, from Virtual Mechanics
To put it simply, its the best site creation software I’ve ever used. It works as easily as a word processor and is highly intuitive. I have created three beautiful websites and haven’t even cracked the manual. I think that it’s well within the abilities of web beginners.
I’ve used other site creation software, including FrontPage, Macromedia’s Contribute and Dreamweaver, and several other so-called wysiwyg programs that I found on the ‘net. None of these can hold a candle to Site Spinner.
Other neat things about it: it comes with a built in upload utility, so you don’t need a separate ftp program; the code that it generates behind the scenes is W3C valid; it allows you to drag and drop graphics; and repositioning elements is as easy as pulling it with a mouse.
But the best part is the price: SiteSpinner is just $49 for a download and an additional $9 for the CD.
At that price, you can’t go wrong.
(Can you tell I’m geeked about this?)
